Second: Dating? I would hardly call living together in a foreign country/culture, "dating." But happy anniversary!
Third: I have been teaching for six years and still feel awkward, unpolished, etc. It's a long process. Don't demand perfection. Let yourself learn. Do you have a mentor? I would love to hear more about the teaching part of your adventure! Also, it's great when the kids like you, but just fine when they don't. Sometimes it's even to your advantage. Just do your best, show your humanity, and soak it all up! Certainly seems like you are!
